Over 100 people attended The Impact of Christian Nationalism in the US with David Frey, Pastor of First Congregational Church, UCC, and John Wakefield, Rector of The Church of the Epiphany, on April 9, 2026 at Lake Michigan College in South Haven. The event was the 3rd in a series, The Threat of Christian Nationalism, sponsored by South Haven Indivisible.
The presentation included suggestions on "What can I do?" Suggestions included:
Join a positive community (social organization, church, action group, etc.)
See less social media and news (more face-to-face, cease doom scrolling)
Give to the underserved (help the poor, donate to charity, volunteer)
Seek some peace and quiet each day (walk, meditate, pray, rest)
A handout labeled WHAT IS CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM? was given to each participant. It was created by ChristiansAgainstChristianNationalism.org.
